We are labbing an upgrade from 4.1(3) to 6.0(1) on IBM 7835 servers. I am seeing the following issues:
1) Once the migration started, the network link is up/connected but there is no MAC address being populated in the CAM table.
2) The CallManager says the default gateway is not responding but other devices get a reply from it.
3) The "Network connectivity check" fails each time, and I a getting a subsequent error "File Retrieval Failed for Unknown Reason" when trying to get to the DMA tar file.
The fact that there is no MAC address showing in the switch the CM is connected to is fundamental to the problem. Has anyone else seen this?
