H.450.X Supplementary Service support in CM

Hi all,

I want to know whether the call manager has support to H.450.X features. What will happen if a H.323EP supporting the H.450.X Hold, Transfer or Forward is used with the CallManager. WHether the call manager interprets those messages and acts as a GK or just routes the messages to appropriate destination ?

I dont have any idea about the Call Manager. But i have to verify how can/ will H.323EP used with CM.

Please guide me in this. Awaiting a positive response.

In a CM cluster each registered IP phone can be assigned up to three Cisco CallManagers with which it can register, note that this redundancy is for call processing. The shared gateways use the Skinny Gateway Protocol also use this redundancy scheme. IP phones(such as 7960, if you have one working check its config) maintains active TCP sessions with its primary and secondary Cisco CallManagers, all supplementary are maintained on an event of primary CM failure. The Media Gateway Control Protocol (MGCP) operates in a similar fashion too.
