Hi,
i need to block all users from editing/changing wikipedia, viewing/browsing the site is allowed,
has anyone ever had a request like this before? suggestions?
i'm using 1 cisco 877 and pix 501

More than one way to solve this issue I'm sure.
You could filter by URL. For example, when I click on the edit link for the article on the Cisco PIX, I go to the following URL:
en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Cisco_PIX&action=edit& section=4
So one way you could filter this is to block URLS to wikipedia that contain the string "action=edit"

Editing probably involves a HTTP POST versus a GET. I didn't verify mind you;-) So, you could block all HTTP POST requests to wikipedia.
