snmp mibs and oids

I am trying to find mibs and/or oids that I can implement but I can't find any good places to get details on the matter. I have tried mibdepot.com and the cisco mib/oid finder thing but neither do me any good. Neither have good descriptions of what each mib or oid is for, which makes it hard to find anything. Anyone have any advice on the matter? Thanks.

MIB (Management Information Base) is a database of the objects that can be managed on a device. The managed objects, or variables, can be set or read to provide information on the network devices and interfaces. use the following link it will provide the MIB info : http://tools.cisco.com/ITDIT/MIBS/servlet/index
