How to reset the router to the default settings?

Its been about a year since I've used my practice routers (2514 and 2501) for studying to obtain the CCNA. I have no idea what settings and routes are on there, and I would like to start from the default settings (without harming the IOS). How can I do this? Thanks.

There are some more options in other platforms.FYI:

* config replace

* default interface

First one resets the runnig config for the whole router and the second one is just for an interface.
