We have purchased a router cisco 2821. I want to configure a E1 unchannelized (not PRI)interface for 2 MB of bandwidth. Please guide me from where i can get help URL to configure my E1 interface for 2 MB of bandwidth.

Just assign these commands on the interface:
(config-if)# bandwidth 2048
(config-if)# no shut

thanks bvsnarayana03 for quick reply. what about the other perameters of E1? if i keep it unassigned will it work? kindly tell me the URL?

Hi Muhammad.
I'm not 100% sure that you can use full 2M because you only use 30 channels for doing that.
Are you using e1 for data? please try this:
card type e1 x/y
!
controller e1 x/y
channel-group 0 timeslots 1-31
!
interface serial x/y:0
encapsulation ??? (you want)
ip address ???(you want)
!
Note:Please let us know what type of card are you using?
If you really want to use 2M full I think you need E1 unframed G.703 to do.

As mentioned many many times, the bandwidth parameter is purely informative and does not change the speed of an interface or how it works.
