Network Authorization on ASA UsingRADIUS

Unanswered Question
Dec 1st, 2007

Hi,

I'm trying to define where users can go to on the Internet, by using the cut through proxy and authenticate via RADIUS using Cisco AV-pair ACL's. The authentication works well, however the ASA does not allow you to use RADIUS authorization. I'm sure you were able to do this on the PIX. Has anyone got this working?

Thanks,

Dave

I have this problem too.

Dave,

AAA authorisation is not a feature with the ASA. Hence cisco-avpair = "shell:priv-lvl=15"

attribute is not sent from the ACS to the ASA.The ASA doesn't have this functionality yet and hence cannot be configured with TACACS also.
