Hi,

I'm using LMS 2.5 and DFM 2.0.3. I'm not able to discover the devices, the data collector process stops at 40% and after some time shows error message: datacollector request timeout. going into questioned state.

Any help..

This could be an SNMP timeout problem. Try increasing the timeout under DFM > Device Management > SNMP Config.

The SNMP is configured properly, as the archive mgmt, fetching configs.

The processes are seems to be running normal.

Its coming under the others section...

The error message is below.

*** Data Collector Status Information ***

Error Code = Others

Error Message = DataCollector request timeout(internal problem)

This could be a process problem, then. Please post the output of pdshow.

Have seen similar problems here when remote devices, particularly AP's have been turned off before the data collector see's the devices as known.

I usually ping the device to ensure it is reachable and then click on the checkbox for the devices and do a "rediscover". Sometimes takes a couple of times before the devices are known.

Hi,

I'm attaching the pdshow output.

Thanks..

Some internal debugging will need to be enabled, and logs collected. You should open a TAC service request to proceed at this point.
