UCM6.0 and G711a-law support

Dear sirs!

We have UCM6.0 and it seems to work only in G711u-law codec. In our region, G711a is preferable, and our ISP has their setup tested in G711a. However, UCM does not handle correctly calls in G711a. As soon we configure IPtoIP gateway Cisco 3845 to use G711a in any direction - imcoming calls fail.

Do we miss something here? How do we make UCM support G711a?

Most of the phones support G711a

In the dial-peer to the CCM when you hardcode G711alaw CCM should be able to respond with the proper codec. An MTP can be used to transcode a-law to mu-law and vice versa.

What is the CCM integration with IPIP (SIP or H323)
