Text to Cip

Unanswered Question

I am trying to understand how to convert text to a cip image to display on a phone. I would like for this to be real time. As the text is updated so is the cip image on the phone.

What is the best method to achieve this?

I have this problem too.

Do you realy want i to be send as an CIP image to the phones and not in a CiscoIPPhoneText xml object?

To send it as a CIP image I think you will have to do this:

1. Create a (gif) image with the correct widht and heigt containing the required text.

2. Convert the image to CIP using the conversion program of the Cisco SDK

3. Send the CIP image to the phone.

Here is what I am trying to accomplish.

I want to use the CiscoIPPhoneStatusFile (or CiscoIPPhoneStatus) and display information. The information I want to display is in a png format or it may just be in plain text.
