Background On 7965/7945 CUCM version 5.1

I can't get this to work, I've followed all of the directions in the Admin Guide, but it doesn't display my image on the phone background.

Has anyone got this to work on the 7965/7945?

The documentation is a bit misleading. I called TAC with the 7975s. Basically, just ensure that you create the png with the 320x212x16 dimensions and then place it in the Desktops/320x212x16/ folder in the TFTPPath. That said, remember to reset the Cisco TFTP service after you place the files and update the List.xml file.

Tried typing the subdirectory several different ways and still doesn't work. Did it on the same version CCM last week and worked fine with 7961 phones, it just these 7965's are giving me fits. The subdirectory I'm using is "/Desktops/320x212x16/" and I know the List.xml is in the wrong place because it doesn't show anything different when I select Background Images.

No worries, you may want to try placing the images in the /Desktops/320x216x16/ directory. I am trying to recall what the issue was, and I think that was the problem with the 79x5s.

Just tried that because I looked at a 7975 doc and it referenced that subdirectory. Let me know if you think of anything else.

Guys, I was having the same issue and was able to resolve it.

The 7965 guide has you put the files in a different directory than the images. I'm not sure if it would work with them all in the Desktops/320x212x16 directory but after spending 2 hours on this, I no longer care.

TAC helped me to get this to work. Phone type is 7965.

1. Both Images and List.xml in the Desktops/320x212x16/ directory.

2. Content of List.xml. (2 images only)
