Router Hangs

Hi,

Suddenly our Network got hanged which is cisco 3745 series.After restarting the router it went UP.

what could be the problem ?

what are the commands i can use to know the reason?

Use the below commands to verify:

#show log

#show processes cpu

#show buffers ==> To see any Failures

#show environment

#show hardware

Do RATE if HELPS

hi,

just checkout weather router fan are working so propely or not because it can be due to overheating. just check it.

The error I found is below.

System returned to ROM by bus error at PC 0x60B5C344, address 0x234 at 11:47:09

probably a IOS Bug or some damaged Hardware ... for exact informations in think you would have to contact the Cisco TAC ... instead of that an IOS upgrade would proably helps.

It would be good if you can give us som informations about the actual IOS version of the device (you would get it with sh version).
