a couple of 1242 LAPs are registered to one controller. to test seamless roaming from one ap to another on the same controller, the notebook was associated with AP1... complete with authentication to ACS 4.0. then, AP1's admin status was disabled. immediately it associated with AP2, and surprisingly, asked for the authentication credentials. the client was configured to:
1. NOT to connect when this network is in range.
2. NOT to authenticate when computer information is available.
In the SSID list, all of them are having 'On Demand' connection.
is it possilbe not to re-authenticate when the client associate to the other AP and just be connected right away?
another annoying instance is when one ssid set to automatic, it doesn't let go of that ssid even if the user wanted to connect to another ssid that is not configured as automatic. how can this be avoided?
