Looking for remote access solution

it would be fine if somebody could tell me what's the best cisco product to build a central remote access router/server to fullfill the following requirements:

- ISDN and analogue dial-in from normal ppp chap clients (e.g. windows)

- less than 30 concurrent dial-ins

- complete hardware redundancy

- user authentication via radius or ldap

- access filter for each user

- ip address pools

- dedicated ip address for special clients

At the moment we use a 3640 router with one NM-1CE1B. Does anybody know if there is any possibility to connect analogue dial-ins and isdn dial-ins with the same NM?

Best Regards,

I have this problem too.

The ISR routers with PVDMx-DM can accept simultaneous modem and digital calls.

Now, it has been added the feature for which you can use ISDN BRI also, plus certain new interface cards that are WIC an no more the NM.

However, if you need modem pooling and certain advanc3d features, it would be recommendable to use an AS5xx0 for that.

Hope this helps, please rate post if it does!
