Networkers is a weird beast...some of the preso are AWESOME, while some of them, not so much. It depends on who is doing the preso.

Which one(s) are you looking at?

I think it is, yes.

The quality of speakers varies greatly but the content is pretty good and includes stuff at all levels.

I found the troubleshooting ones (Troubleshooting OSPF, Troubleshooting EIGRP etc. ) to be really helpful. The troubleshooting ones I've seen have been given by high level TAC engineers, so the content is amazing but the delivery can be a bit lacking.

Theres 100's of hours of training available.

I plan on looking at the IPv6, Multicast BGP, OSPF, EIGRP and Switching Stuff as part of my CCIE Prep.

I think it's worth it yes.If you attend networkers you get access included in the price.

I've never looked at any of the optical/ sonet material.

I did attend the CCIE techtorial in Brisbane this year and found it pretty helpful.
