I have been experiencing some problems with Cisco 7513 router, VIP2-50 and PA-MC-8E1/120. Suddenly one interface stops forwarding the traffic. The only way to restore the service is reconfiguring the channel under controller.
I have tried to change the interface (in the same PA), but the problem has followed it.
I have already researched for a doc at cisco.com, including new bug and tac collection case, but I didn't find any information.
Router: Cisco 7513
RSP4 (IOS: 12.3(22)
VIP 2-50
PA-MC8E1/120
Router Configuration:
controller E1 5/0/1
channel-group 1 unframed
description Provider Access
interface Serial5/0/1:1
bandwidth 2048
ip address X.X.X.X/30
no ip redirects
encapsulation ppp
ip route-cache flow
ip mroute-cache
load-interval 30
no fair-queue
no cdp enable
no clns route-cache
service-policy input internet
Does any body know what could be happening with it?
Tks,
Douglas

Hi, this can be due to a software bug. Can you try latest 12.2S or or 12.3, failing that you may need TAC advice for further troubleshooting.
