Port channel - need assistance

hi 2 all,

The requirement is this they want to do port aggregation between these two devices Cisco 2950 switch and Cisco 7613 series router.

My observation is in 2950 they have fast ethernet and in 7600 gigabit ethernet.is it possible to do L2 port channel configuration in these devices.

anything can be donwe here..

AFAIK, you cannot do L2 port aggregation on a router.

if the router has switching module,then is it possible by typing switchport command for converting L3 to L2 port and start configuring it.

Yes I wondered about that after I posted. I should have looked up the specs of the 7600. Thanks for the correction.

If it is a copper Gig module, then I guess you should be able to do EtherChannel at multiples of 100 Mbps.

Can you be lil bit more precise. What module are we connecting on the 7613?
