Hi all

can anyone tell me when my switch trusts the frames from the phone, what do I need to do on the uplink port to my router, do I need to just enable diff serv on it and get it to trust the frames on both ends of the uplink, the switches are layer 3 aware and can read the diff serv code point

If its L3 & its configured for trusting precedence & dscp, then do nothing. Pkts will be fwd with markings.

do i need to do this on both sides of the uplink ports ?
