Message From Unknown Number

Hi,

My network scenario is a CallManager 5 connected by a bri interface with a Cisco 2811, IOS Version 12.4(9)T6, to a PBX.

When I make a call from the PBX side to the VoIP side i get the "From Unknown Number" message on the voip Phones (Cisco IP Phones 7961 or 7941 series).

I believe this is somehow worked around in the gateway, maybe by adding the command caller-id enable on the voice ports, but this does not seems to be available...

Does anyone knows if I'm right or wrong in this... and if I'm wrong how can I solve this issue?

If you need any more information, please tell me, and I will post it :)

Best Regards,

Ricardo Rolhas

Hi,

let's see first if the PBX sends the calling number.

"Debug isdn q931" and "Term mon", will tell you if it does.

Hi,

Here is the debug, for you to analyze.

It sends the nember it has dialed, but I don't see any info about it's own number.

I dialed 309 on the pbx side, this is what I get in the debug:
