Unanswered Question

I have user with voice mail that the phone does not indicate (MWI) when she has voice mail.

Unity says “MWI Request is pending OFF” even though she does have mail.

Short of recreating the user does anyone have any ideas?

She was a user previously and I deleted the voice mail box and her user alias in exchange on Unity but it shows 2 folders under the MBX folder with her initials.

I'm not sure if this is part of the problem.

mwi troubleshooting :-)

Well not sure where to start but I am guessing you are correct about the 2 folders in MBX. How did you delete the subscriber when you deleted her?

My thoughts are that the Unity notifier checks the inbox for changes and if there are changes then it checks to see what the changes are.

Then it will send the appropriate code to the ccm.

I think it is possible that unity is checking the wrong mailbox/folder/inbox.

how do we find this out. port status monitor is a good tool. unity diagnostic traces (mwi traces) would be good.

do you need instructions?
