Our customer wants the option of stating in a Main Greeting "To reach the person now, press 1 and then that call handler says "please dial the number of the user you wish to speak to" and they want the users phone to ring. Also as part of the main greeting they want to be able to include "To leave a voicemail for a user, press 2" and have the caller then dial the users number and have it go straight to voicemail without ringing the phone.
Currently, we have the user templates set to "go directly to voicemail" which it does when you transfer from an auto attendant (for specific reasons)- if we change the subscribers call transfer settings to "ring subscribers extension"...then it will ring, but the caller wont be able to choose option 2 to go directly to voicemail without ringing the phone.
Is there anyway around this so we can offer both? Thanks.
