i have to know when we use MLPP? AND why most of network engineers prefere to use dot1q over the ISL.Although ISL is a cisco propriatery
3)i need a useful link that describe the ip multicast helper-map
4)i need the path to download the sdm software also

MLPP can be used when you would like to control CPE devices at the CallManager. This MLPP uses SCCP to communicate call control messages between CCM and the gateway endpoints, which can be FXS, analog or BRI ISDN encryption-enabled phones.

dot1q is IEEE standard and widely supported by all types of Cisco devices like switches & routers. ISL is mostly available only in Cisco switches.
