Internet bandwidth guarantee for WLAN users

Hi all,

I am designing a solution ( Cisco WLAN) for customer who wants internet bandwidth guarantee, as one of the requirements, for internet users on the WLAN.

Can i achieve this by adopting Cisco QoS/RSVP method or employ a third party standalone bandwidth manager. Please kindly advise the best solution. Thanks.

You can configure QOS on WLCs to allocate bandwidth based on the application and design. The controller does not apply its own QoS. The QoS support on the WLC gives the WLC the ability to apply the same priority that is set on the wire (or application).
