Can VLAN TRanslation and HSRP co-exist ? .

Description : Two 6500 switches (A & B ) are connected thru a trunk interface. Vlan 100 is trunked across switch A . On switch B we translate Vlan100 to Vlan300 . Ordinary ping works OK on the translated VLAN. But when we try doing a HSRP between VLAN 100 translated and 300 , all HRSP groups flaps and kills the network . I can send configs etc if someone wants . The question is "IS HSRP and Vlan translation supported in together"
