I have an ethernet circuit between Router A & Router B. I can not run dynamic routing over this connection. I have a static on Router A pointing to the ethernet interface connected to B. It is being redistributed into a dynamic routing protocol on A. I want to remove this route from being redistributed as soon as router B is unreachable. There are multiple layer 2 devices b/w these two routers.
What are the options available? What kind of object tracking would work best in this case?
