Port Channel caveats between 4948s and 6500 native IOS

Has anyone come across issues/caveats with correctly configured port channels (I hope) between the 2 platforms listed above? Specifically flow control parameters or other L2 defaults that are not apparent... My problems are across 1000baseTX trunked and channeled interfaces showing as up but intermittently passing packets... Thanks in advance.....

Thanks, for your reply... We actually found a bad port on a 6148A line card... it was showing up up but was not able to rcv packets... this confused the port channel... we moved to a different port on a different module and all is OK.. thanks... Josh...
