error starting IOS on 3660 cisco router

i've upgraded 3660 router flash memory from 8 mb to 2x32 flash simm i uploaded ios version 12.1 from xmodem -r its size 5 mb, upload process completed successfully and the router booted normally cuz the IOS on the DRAM

after that i uploaded another version of IOS 12.3 after finished upload the router booted and an error message interrupted the boot process

so please advise what to do

Indeed not the kind of messages one likes to see when upgrading codes, does the route goes into rommon> if it does try recoverying , here is a link for rommon recovery..

Take a look at ios bugs on 12.3 and your platform to rule out issue with code and 3660 , if you try to xmodem another image re-donwload a fresh code from cisco before downloading it to router.
