3825 router, T3 Network Module capability

I have a DS3 connection to the DR site.

HQ has a 7206 router and DR has a 3725 router with T3 Network Modules

We have experienced issues of link flapping during heavy traffic throughput.

We had someone mention the 3725 router cannot handle a full T3 at line speed.

I am wondering about this line in the spec:

Full-rate T3/E3 with no services

What does this mean?

The link is Frame Relay with the following config on the interface:

Hi Wilson,

Full-rate T3/E3 with no services - means when the router is configured only for packet forwarding (i.e) without any other services like QoS, NAT, ACL enabled. With no services enabled, the CPU will be fully utilised for packet forwarding.

If not, the CPU will be shared by other enabled services and obviously the throughput will be reduced.

If your requirement is T3/E3 line rate with services enabled, 3845 will be the better choice.
