My WLSE started a few days ago to give me this error:

IP Name Family Product Type SpoofClient SpoofIndex SpoofStaMacAddress SpoofUserId Aironet AP 1210 MAC_spoof 21 0012f066d89f 21

Name State Severity Description

ClientMacSpoofing Down P2 Client MAC Spoofing Detected on 0012f066d89f , and on AP

The client itself is a quite new laptop which uses WPA2-Enterprise with username/password authentification.

The client seems clean and it is not the only one using that authentification method.

So what could this error mean?

And what should I do?

Is the AP where the working MAC authentication is taking place is a member of the WDS domain or not ?

You need to verify whether you have correctly configured WDS AP and ACS entry for mac address.
