Remote Control of Phones?

Hi,

Does anyone have links to sites that offer software to remote control an IP phone, to take control of the phone. ?

We use this, it's a little slow, but it works. And it's free.

Phone Remote allows you to take control a Cisco IP phone (7940, 7941, 7960, 7961, 7970 and 7971 models) from anywhere with network connectivity.

Phone Remote allows you to send keys to the phone which are interputed by the phone exactly like the user pressed the key on the phone. Screen updates show the exact screen as displayed on the phone.

This utility is great for troubleshooting remote site features like conferencing, call routing or for use as a training aid.

We'd like to use this to administrate phones in our network. Is there a way to make an 'admin' account, that is associated with all phones? Since we do not know everyone's PIN.

Well, you might be able to make an account and just associate it with every phone. Not sure if that would work or not, I've never tried.

Yes that option will do the job!

Just create a new account and associate every phone you want to control with this account.
