Hello Guys,
I have a unity VM 4.2 and would like to setup the server to send voice files into the email. I was able to configure the message notification but can't figure out how the wav file can be sent into the email. Could you please send me a step by step doc showing how to do this?
Thanks,
MK

Hi -
How did you implement Unity initially? Are you licensed for voicemail only, meaning your Unity subscriber uses a different mailbox for voice messages and a separate mailbox for email? Message notification is not for unified messaging, that is just a way to notify the subscriber via an alternate phone or text message that a voice message has been received. If you are wanting to switch from voicemail only to unified messaging, where the voice messages are sent to the user's email inbox, you have to be licensed for this. Then you need to reconfigure Unity so that your users' email boxes are used for voice messaging. Here is a link that discusses - http://www.cisco.com/en/US/customer/products/sw/voicesw/ps2237/products_white_paper09186a00808f28d6.shtml (it also applies to version 4). Another link for mixed messaging, which is supported in your Unity version - http://www.cisco.com/en/US/customer/docs/voice_ip_comm/unity/white/paper/cuumvme.html
