Hello everyone,

I have a question or 2 about the IOS of the 3550 switch. I am looking to upgrade to the latest software for this switch which is currently 12.1(8)EA1c

Does the latest ver c3550-ipbasek9-tar.122-40.SE have ssh capabilities?

I also have numerous WS-C3524-XL-EN

switches. I believe the upgrade is

c3500xl-c3h2s-mz.120-5.WC17 Does anyone know if this supports ssh security?

Thanks for your help,

Matt

I have this problem too.

It does not.

3550 is yes , an image with "k9" indicates crypto code which supports SSH . I don't believe any of the old 3500XL switches support SSH , think this became a feature in like 12.1T train which came after the 3500Xl's .
