Hello All,

Many Thanks for all the assistance in my preparation for the the ICND1. I passed Saturday. I found the practice exams to be more difficult than the actual exam. I guess the only advice I can give for the test is know SUBNETTING backwards and forwards; and brush up on commands a day or two before your exam so that they're fresh.

If anyone's interested, here's what I used.

-CiscoPress ICND1/CCENT book

-Boson Netsim

-CiscoPress/Boson Practice Exams

-Home Lab (for command practice)

2 25xx

1 26xx

2 2950 switches

-Study schedule of 3-4 days/week 3hrs/day.

-I also spent every spare moment I had at work reviewing, looking int the forum for answers to questions, etc... I'm attacking the ICND2 with that vigor.

I'm planning on taking the ICND2 in late January/Early February, so I'll still be bugging everyone with questions!

I know the ICND1/CCENT isn't the greatest accomplishment, but I had no prior networking experience prior to beginning my Cisco Study last year. Needless to say, I feel slightly validated that at least I'm on the right track!

Just wanted to say thanks!

I have this problem too.
