Certificate request, set key length to 1024 ?

Unanswered Question

I'm new to this so hoping you guys can help me out. I'm running Cisco VPN client on a Red Hat Linux 4.6 server. I'm trying to generate a certificate request with a key length of 1024bits. By default this is being set to 2048bits, I've tried just about everything I can think of but can't discover how to force it to use 1024. Could anyone offer and advice on this ?

Thanks in advance

I have this problem too.

While requesting certificates from Certificate Authority, we have to specify "keylen" option with the "scep_app" command.

scep_app -keylen = { 512 | 1024 | 2048}
