We configured the VLANs in 3750, 2960 Switches. The problem is that out of 150 users only 7-10 users are not getting ip addresses through DHCP as well as statically. 90 % users of one switch are properly getting the network but few users on same switch are not able to get the network.pls help us.

Hi Parba,

There is several things to verify.

1. check the VLAN on switch interfaces for your users, that can't be reached

2. check if that VLAN is in the trunk towards your rotuer

3. if your DHCP server is not on the same VLAN as your guests, verify ip helper address poiting to your DHCP server

On your switch:

do sh vlan to see, if the vlan is created

do sh interface status to see, if the correct VLAN is assigned to correct interfaces

do sh run int XY - the interface, where your users are connected (the problematic one)

If possible, post the outputs

HTH

Regards

Ivan
