Will there be any performance impact if we enable BPDU filter on all the ports connected to hosts. These hosts are in production and are connected to 4506.

Will there be any chnage in terms of CPU/ memory post this depoyment

No performance impact.

Unless, of course someone abuses the ports and connects a switch or a hub to two of them. In that case your whole network will probably melt down.

I would advise you to consider very carefully whether, and why, you want to disable your Spanning Tree protection.

Using it on a per port basis basically shuts off spanning tree , we learned that the hard way when we had a whole site melt down when someone looped 2 ports together on a access switch and we had bpdu filter on the user ports , your best bet is to use "either bpduguard or bpdufilter at the global level . I would do some reading as we also had some misunderstanding on how this works , it works differently at the global level versus on the port level .
