How to configure Etherchannel on Router 3845 L2 Interface?

Greetings!!!

I have router with l2 card ,i have planned to configure etherchannel to do a loadbancing .But etherchanel commands are supporting on l2 interface.

Hi, as neikumar stated before, the HWIC-4ESW doesn't support etherchannel.

Hi Manik,

Please be advised that HWIC-ESW card doesnt support port aggregation (ether channel). You may need Etherswitch Network module for port aggregation.

Hi Manik,

base on the router output above. You are using 4 port Synchronous Serial Network Module on slot1.

You CANNOT configure "etherchanel" on this Serial network module.

As per Naikumar advised. you need an Etherswitch Network module for port aggregation.
