vg224 ios upgrade help

I currently have a vg224 that has a paging system devise that connects to port 21. We consistenly have issues with that paging system. I am thinking that their is a bug or something on the vg. Can someone let me know of any bug that would cause the paging system to hang or release a fast busy.

I am thinking to upgrade the vg. Can someone let me know what is the latest Ios I should upgrade my VG too. Here are my current specs.

Cisco IOS Software, vg224 Software (vg224-I6S-M), Version 12.3(4)XD, RELEASE SFTWARE (fc1)

You can upgrade to 12.4(11)T or 12.4(9)T3 .12.4(11)T introduces a number of changes in QoS (CCE = Common Classification Engine).If you don't need 12.4(11)T features, then 12.4(9)T3 is a good bet. Elsewise go with 12.4(11)T1.
