VM Box to distribution list

I have a DN that is is a line appearance on a cisco phone. We are using off box exchange UM. The VM for the DN is in reality an exchange distribution list, not a subscriber. Is there a way to tie a Unity VM box to this list, since it is not a typical subscriber. thanks

I don't think there is a way to do this.

Hi

You could try to change the DN to be a normal subscriber and in AD forward the messages to the distribution list like a broadcast VM.

In Active Directory Users and Computer. Find the user, go to properties. Then select

the Exchange General tab, Delivery Options, and then Forward to. From there, select the

distribution list that you wish for the VMs to be sent to
