We have IP7960 phones and can not seen to get more than two calls on a line before 3rd call goes to voice mail. I thought I could stack up to 6 calls per line?

Hi Ed,
This is possible if you are using CCM 4.x and above. Have a look;
How Multiple Calls Per Line Work in Cisco CallManager 4.x

Hope this helps!

First thing to check is the busy trigger on the line. Default is 4 max calls, with busy trigger at 2 calls. You can adjust that up to the limit set in the global settings, but i'm fairly certain that in theory it maxes out at 200 for a 794x series phone.

I agree with Chris. I would check the max calls and busy trigger on the line.

in your call manager pull up the directory number form for the phone device. at the very bottom there should be two fields for number of rings and busy trigger. default is usually 4 and 2 so you may want to change that 2 to a 3 or 4 on the busy trigger field.
