Hi Vinoth,
I never heard of "VLAN database" corruption or even see a documentation about this type of problem.
However, here is the link in troubleshooting 2950 switch which includes recovering the image. The document differs in image version, find the document for the image you use. http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/lan/catalyst2950/software/release/12.1_19_ea1/configuration/guide/swtrbl.html
It is recommended to document your network and also regularly backup the configurations, in case that the "VLAN database" is corrupted, you can recover it manually.

Dandy

Hi,
Can you give us a little bit more info so we can try to help you?
is this the only switch you have on this particular LAN ?
If you have more than one switches thes are all of these switches have same symptoms ? a LAN topology will be helpfull to give us more info....
what are the symptoms, which make you think vlan database has gone corrupt ?
Regards
Shaheen
