Can VWIC MFTs be used for PRI?

Hi,

I haven't see any description in the data sheets (plz. help me if its not so) of VWIC MFTs for terminating ISDN PRI.

On the other hand I have seen the ISDN PRI Modules and HWIC CExs for ISDN PRIs.

Can we use HWIC CExs in place for VWIC MFTs for Data T1/E1 and vice versa?

Yes, it can be done, see:

there is also new hardware coming out, but the VWIC should be fine already.

Thanks for the info, however if im not wrong the same has not been mentioned in the VWIC data sheets.

The reason is because the data sheet predates the feature released a later time, and it has not been updated to reflect that.

i have two hwic v2's for my mft, on bonded t's, once the telco bonds them, not sure about over isdn lines.
