CCM's and Quadcore Xeon's

I've located the CCM server 6.1 hardware support matrix sheet on cisco.com, but it's not very detailed about what the servers are.

I was looking to get an HP DL320 G5 with the Xeon dualcore 3050, however, that particular server setup doesn't support redundant power supplies. The next step up server that does, doesn't come with the 3050. So, I'm looking at getting a DL 320 G5 with the Xeon 3210 Quad-Core, however, I can't find if HP supports this.. anyone know if there's a support matrix on their site that shows the details of each support machine?

(I found a detailed one for Unity)

The DL320-G5, which requires Cisco Windows OS 2000.4.5 or Cisco Windows OS 2003.1.2 or Cisco Unified Communications Manager 6.0.1, is a high-performance server platform for today's unified communications applications. It supports up to 1000 Cisco Unified IP phones on a single server and up to 4000 Cisco Unified IP phones when clustered properly. The required processor is an Intel 3050 Xeon 2.13-GHz processor. No specific memory configuration is required as long as 2 GB of memory is provided. The scheduled ship date for Cisco Windows OS 2000.4.5 and Cisco Windows OS 2003.1.2 is July 13, 2007. The scheduled ship date for Unified Communications Manager 5.1 on this server is August 30, 2007. The scheduled ship date for Cisco Unified CallManager 6.0.1 is June 29, 2007 and will remain on new product hold until July 23, 2007. This server does not support Cisco Unified CallManager 5.0. This server is the configuration equivalent of the Cisco MCS 7825-H3.

Why don't you just put in a request to TAC and ask them? It could be that hardware is currently being tested and will be available soon, or they could give you an answer why they chose the particular server to support that they did.

I did put a request in to TAC. They told me what I already know, that is what the documentation says. So, they told me call pre-sales and see what they thought. They told me to contact my resaler and see what they think.. that's what I'm doing now.

Not even Cisco themselves could give me a yes or a no on a Cisco question. hmm
