802.1x and WOL and Guest VLAN

Unanswered Question

Has anyone found a way to avoid a PC getting switched into a guest vlan when the power save goes into sleep or hibernate mode? I have the ports on the 4506 with IOS 12.2 enabled with dot1x and guest vlan capability. When a connected PC goes into sleep mode the link drops momentarily which causes the switch to attempt dot1x authorization which of course PC does not respond cause it is asleep. So port gets moved to guest vlan. Anyone know a way to avoid this? I tried just about everything I can think of...

Thanks

Gene

When the switch cannot authenticate the client, the switch remains idle for a set period of time and then tries again. The dot1x timeout quiet-period interface configuration command controls the idle period.
