Yes it is possible. But do you mean as a client (i.e. the router gets its address from DHCP) or as a server (i.e. the router hands out IP addresses.)?


If it is client, then it is simple: ip address dhcp. If it is a server, then the configuration is rather more complicated, depending on what exactly you want it to do. Here is a good document to start with:
