I have a AIR-LAP1131AG-A-K9 configured with autonomous IOS and power injector.
It stays up for 5-8 minutes then reboots.
I swapped out the ap at the far end of the Cat5 drop, but the problem persists. The ap, however, stayed up all night when directly patched to the power injector.
The entire 137 foot cable run from patch cord to drop to far end patch cord passed a (cheesy) Cat5 cert tester although it appears to have some split pairs.
I will appreciate any ideas for isolating this problem.

Hi Steve,
It looks like you have already isolated this perfectly with the troubleshooting you have done. The next thing to try would be to reterminate the CAT5 at both ends to see if a faulty connection is the problem (split pairs doesn't sound good!).
Hope this helps!

SOLVED: It looks like a progressively failing power supply caused this.
It now outputs ~35vdc compared to its rating of 48vdc.
Before it got to this point it could drive POE over patch cables in a comms closet but could not handle a 137' drop.
At the end it could not power up a directly connected ap.
I should have gone for the vom earlier. Silly me.
