Hi,

There are prerequisites (for example valid CCNA certification or other exams as BCMSN) in order to take the CCDA certification?

Thank you.

Best regards,

Massimiliano.

I have this problem too.

Hi,

Yes, CCNA is required to be certified CCDA.

However, you can take CCDA exam without having CCNA certification. You will only get the CCDA certification after you complete CCNA.

Massimiliano,

you were given some incorrect information above. CCNA certification is NOT a pre-req to be a CCDA:

http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/le3/le2/le0/le4/learning_certification_type_home.html

CCDA Prerequisites

CCNA level knowledge and BCMSN level knowledge is needed to prepare for the CCDA certification exam.

CCNA level KNOWLEDGE is required, but not the actual cert itself.
