Dear all,
I am having some problems with a CCM6. This is the architecture of the system:
CCM6.0 <--SIP--> IPGW 2801 <--SIP--> POTSGW AS5400
1.- AUDIO MESSAGES FROM THE OPERATOR ARE NOT PLAYED IN THE PHONES:
When a phone of the CCM system calls to a:
- none existing number
- a mobile phone that is out of service
- a number that is busy
The operators GW sends some â183 In progressâ messages to the IPIPGW that includes some audio messages that should be listened in the calling phone. The IPIPGW resends these messages to the CCM system. Nevertheless, the phone gets "in progresss" tones instead of listening to the audio from the operator. What should be configured to enable the Cisco phones to listen the audio from the operator?
We have tested the same without the IPIPGW, connecting directly the POTSGW to the CCM. In this case the phone hears a playback from the CCM stating that the number the number can't be phoned. They can't either listen to the operators message in this case.
The configuration of the IPIPGW is attached and also the sip debugging when a busy number is called.
3.- MOH for outside callers
We are using G729 in the system for all the calls. Internally, when an extension is hold it can listen to the moh. But when an outside caller calls to an internal extension and is put on hold he gets no sound (no moh, no "pi"). When checking the "utils network capture" output we see that the moh is being played by the ccm. How can we enable the moh for outside callers?
Thanks in advance for your kind help.
Best regards, AL

If you need multiple codecs for MoH deployment, configure them in the IP Voice Streaming Media App service parameter under Unified CM Service Parameters Configuration. Select the desired codec types from the Supported MoH Codecs list under the Clusterwide Parameters section. By default, only G.711 mu-law is selected. To select another codec type, click on it in the scrollable list. For multiple selections, hold down the CTRL key and use the mouse to select multiple codecs from the scrollable list. After making your selection, click the Update button.
