hope someone can help me with something that has been stumping us for a while.

The setup we have is a hub spoke Site 2 site VPN ISPEC/GRE tunnels. The headend is a 3845, the remotes are 1841's, 2821,s and some 1751's.

There are about 30 tunnels.

The issue we experience is that from time to time performance across certain tunnels drops off to about 90-95% when running a ping over the tunnel.

It does not effect all the tunnels all the time (maybe 2-4 at once time), but seems to move around between tunnels and stays with a certain site for a few days, then goes away.

If we test across the internet service to the approriate interfaces we don;t see the same performance, all looks good.

Does anyone have any idea's about what might be causing this?
