hi,
We have a 6500 chasis with 10G modules and would like to have a etherchannel with 3750E switch in a stack.can we form etherchannel across stack making it a 20G
Note: 3750E are the new swtiches with 10G ports.so two 10G ports on 6500 forming and etherchannel with the 2 10G ports on 3750E switches in a stack.
Thanks in advance

Yes it can be done.
In stack the switch is seen as a single logical unit

Thanks Narayan
We have done this, but we face problem,
we have configured disirable mode on 6500 and ON mode on 3750E side, but when we do this,we get packet drop but when we remove one line out of the two we do not get any RTO,

desirable and on are not compatible modes.
If you've opted to configure PAgP, one side needs to be desirable while the other side must be desirable or auto.
On is only compatible with On.

thanks for that sugestion but desirable with desiable or auto does not work on 3750 Stack.cisco documentation reads the same, early it was ON on both sides but stil we faced the same issue,

Can you post the error you are getting along with the portion of the config from the 3750E and 6500 Switch?
